and lived in DayÂton, Ohio. EdÂmund atÂtendÂed OtÂterÂ
bein UnÂiÂverÂsiÂty, UnÂion BibÂliÂcal SemÂinÂary, Yale
TheÂoÂloÂgicÂal SemÂiÂnaÂry, and the UnÂiÂverÂsiÂty of LeipÂ
zig. He served as pasÂtor of the High Street UnitÂed
BrethÂren Church in DayÂton, Ohio (1884-6), and as
preÂsiÂdent of LeÂbaÂnon ValÂley CollÂege, AnnÂville,
PennÂsylÂvanÂia (1886-8). He latÂer foundÂed the LoÂrenz
and ComÂpaÂny muÂsic pubÂlishÂing house in DayÂton,
